It's nice that you're here. No matter if you are a hiking friend or trailrunning buddy - I am happy about every active sports friend and nature lover. On the following pages, you can dive into my world. Learn something about me and if you want, start together with me in the hiking boots or running shoe in the Allgäuer mountains.
As a trained and certified Hiking guide and Trailrunning Guide I am ready and waiting for you! A world full of adventure and experience is waiting out there in the mountains just for us...
As I write these lines, the world we know has changed tremendously. Things that were commonplace and taken for granted are at a standstill or not happening at all and a great uncertainty now accompanies every day.
This is also true for me as a mountain hiking guide and trail running guide. At the moment nobody knows when we will be allowed to start again unhindered and in larger groups into the mountains.
Here you can find the statement from DAV about the current situation (as of April 26, 2021):
"Germany continues to be in a kind of lockdown. However, at the meeting of the Chancellor with the rulers of the federal states on March 3, 2021, steps were decided to open up, based on the respective 7-day incidence.
The goal of all measures and regulations is to significantly reduce the incidence of infection by reducing contacts. This goal should not be thwarted by the mountain sports community, which should observe the rules and behave responsibly.
Mountain tours are not excluded at present, but should take place close to home. Because one thing is true: mountain sports are healthy, promote the immune system and strengthen the psyche. It is easy to keep to the rules of distance when touring, and those who do so prudently are therefore unlikely to contribute to the spread of the virus. By the way, prudence also includes well-considered tour planning: Those who know their way around should avoid particularly popular destinations at peak times. In case of doubt, this could also mean foregoing one or the other tour in this very unusual season."
Thus, it becomes clear that although it will be possible to spend the night in huts this summer, this cannot be done without a reservation. Spontaneous multi-day tours will accordingly not take place. Here comes the great advantage of half-day or full-day tours. If you have taken up your quarters, no matter whether vacation apartment or hotel, in the valley, we are independent and not dependent on an overnight stay possibility in the mountain. If, in addition, refreshment points and rest stops, such as alps, huts or mountain inns are not catered for, this is also no problem with a suitably packed rucksack and the appropriate provisions. Nothing beats a decent snack, which you have prepared yourself and bring with you on your back. This is pure freedom and independence for every hiker and as trail runners we are anyway always back in the valley before it gets dark...
My backpack is packed at all times and the hiking poles are ready to hand, because I offer you the following advantages with my offer:
